Hi Erica. Couple of questions to help plan what I send where: 1) Can you submit, say a 500 word story, to both Microzine and TiF? 2) Do the Microzine posts link back to the originating Substacks or are they just reproduced on the Mzine stack/PDF etc? Thanks!

Hi Johnathan, for MicroZine, those stories do not appear elsewhere (preferred, but not required). Also, for TiF, and MicroZine, not guaranteed that your story will be selected since there are many submissions and recommendations.

For MicroZine I am trying to feature new stories that aren’t necessarily a cross-post but if you already have it on your own Substack (or elsewhere) and it’s selected to appear in a digital issue, I most certainly will include a link to where it originated from. However, and if it’s not in the rules I will add it now, a story that isn’t new will be ineligible for selection in the quarterly Print MicroZine issue. For that I want to make sure every story is new and hasn’t been seen anywhere else.

Let me know if I answered your questions or if I’ve given you new questions to ask?

I think you have. Maybe best to submit and see. The worst that can happen is you inform me: 'I don't think so, Mr Reid..."😖 (That _is_ the worst thing, right? 😟)

Thank you for including me!

For anyone who is curious, my story was a dream I had and was more than likely influenced by Kane Pixel's Backroom videos on YouTube - my dream wasn't quite as....scary or nerve wracking as his videos are!

A complimentary mix here, Erica. Each story engaging. Thank you for including me. I am honored.

I love that you can read the full stories here. The six word beauty at the end certainly left me guessing.
