SUMMER LIGHTNING, prose poem in 50 words

Hit by lightning! The shock of ultra-neon electric illuminates her body.

It’s not the first time she’s been struck, though it always takes her by surprise,

this sudden flash of incandescence.

She’s lonely, and looking for a little combustion.

He says his name’s Flint.

“Bring it on, cowboy,” she whispers.
